6. Ensure that public access in wood pasture and parkland is of low impact and sensitively managed, to avoid disturbance, especially to veteran trees and to vital dead wood habitats
- Deter people and animals from going under veteran tree canopies using management techniques such as moving the footpath, leaving long grass, habitat piling and avoiding car parking and other vehicle compaction
