2. Ensure favourable management of 85% of existing wood pasture and parkland and ancient trees
Some suggested ways in which you can contribute to this target:
- Provide local landowners with relevant information on the benefits of Environmental Stewardship schemes in the conservation of WP&P sites
- Assist landowners in the development of FEPs through the use of local advocates, FWAG and DEFRA
- Invite interested landowners to attend field meetings of the wood pasture and parkland HAP group
